Ride To Eat is getting TOO BIG!

When I started this site I couldn’t really begin with a blank slate, so I gathered together restaurant data from several sources that I thought made sense.  Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives, Feasting on Asphalt, and some others.

But once the site was underway all new data has come straight from riders like you.

Well, we recently hit 1,000 entries and I’ve decided that’s about big enough for now.

But don’t stop adding great places to Ride to Eat!

I definitely want new RTE destinations added.  If you know of a good place to ride to eat that we are missing, add it!  But for each new addition to the site I am going to delete one of the un-reviewed restaurants that were not entered by a rider.  So until we get to 100% rider-entered data, the site is capped at 1K restaurants.

So you’ll be helping me get the “dead wood” out of the list, improving the overall quality.

Currently my goal of having all the locations reviewed is at:

24.5% 27.9% 29.1% 52%

Spare the Axe:

Please take a moment to check out the Ride To Eat destinations from your state or your normal riding area.  If you see one with a comment which says “unreviewed”, that restaurant is on the chopping block.

If you think that restaurant belongs on the RTE list just click on the little pencil icon next to the restaurant name, and enter your comment and ratings.  That takes it right off my delete list.  It’s easy!
